Merry Christmas from all at Marsden Band.

Marsden Band are delighted to announce the arrival of three new members to the band.

Martin Irwin has joined the band on 2nd man down on the front row. Martin competed with the band when they won at Pontins in October, where he played soprano cornet alongside Dale Garner.
Martin joins the band from Brighouse and Rastrick where he was their soprano player and recently won the National Finals with them.

Martin is a fantastic addition to our already strenthened front row with the recent signing of Carwyn Waters. Carwyn has joined the band from Holme Silver and again has strengthened the front row and his joining made it possible for Alistair Campbell to move on to Flugel Horn, filling the vacant seat.

Finally and by no means least is the signing of Craig Mann on BBb Bass. Craig replaces (Gavin Brown) Hagrid who has moved away with work.
