Well, what a contest. Well done Marsden on a very credible 8th place. There were more than a few in the hall that had the band in a slightly higher position, maybe 6th or 7th.
There are no grumbles, Glyn was very happy with the performance and the band were very pleased with how they performed.
Congratulations to Brighouse who "wowed" the audience with their performance and qualify as regional winners for the second year in succession. Good luck in London, along with the other three qualifiers from Yorkshire,; Hepworth, Rothwell and Carlton Main.

Sunday is almost upon us and the band are putting the finishing touches to Paganini.
After a successful run out last Friday at Marsden Mechanics the band have spent the week with Glyn concentrating on the fine detail required for Sunday.
