A Happy New Year to everyone from all at Marsden Band.

It has been a very busy Christmas period for the band with two very successful Christmas concerts. One in Frodsham and one at the Parish church in Marsden.

Looking forward to this month and the band are busy preparing for the Butlins contest towards the end of January with a test piece to prepare and an entertainment programme. The test piece Requiems is coming along nicely and Glyn has some tricks up his sleeve for the entertainment section.

The band has further strengthened with the return of Paul Dale to the band. Paul is joining on the back row and brings a wealth of experience and talent to an already strong section of the band. Paul has been a member of the band previously and enjoyed numerous successes including qualification for the Nationals with Marsden. Welcome back Paul.
